*Note: This pass includes the Saturday Workshops and the Saturday Night Party. Arrangements with the Friday Night venue preclude us from adding it to our online sales. Friday Friday night will be a social dance party, where you'll have an opportunity to meet the instructors, sign up for the documentary that will be filmed during the weekend, do a little bit of partying, oh, and some dancing too :) Saturday Day Activities Saturday we will start the day with a number of special workshops. Each dance workshop will teach students not only the necessary fundamentals of dance, but also tips, tricks, and creative moves that you can build upon. Students can then showcase what they learned in class at the evening party. You read that correctly, you will have an opportunity to dance on stage with your instructor and fellow students evening party. A special workshop at the end of the day will combine all the classes, the necessary transitions, the musical queues, and plenty of opportunity to practice your part in the showcase. In addition, iMambo.tv will be filming a documentary of the day's activities. We will be following students as they learn, practice, succeed, and even struggle a little bit in class. There will be interviews, there will be photographs, and more. Saturday Night We will spend the night dancing to salsa classics, the latest bachata hits, and even a little bit of popular Reggaeton. A number of dance teams will perform for us, as well as students and instructors from Project Lightening. The iMambo.tv video and photo camera will be on the dance floor filming and snapping pics of the social dancing and the performances. Sunday For most, Sunday is a day to return back home, and prep for the upcoming work week. We are going to try to make it a relaxed but fun day. We are thinking Busch Gardens... More on this later.
