Ismael and Shani did a great performannce. Especially considering the fact that they didn't have enough time to practice together. They were teaching newbies a routine for the "Survival Challenge" at the New York Salsa Congress. I was one of them. They also had their dance team performance as well. I don't know where they get their energy from but if they could bottle it and sell it, they would be millionares.

	i believe they decided to compete the night before. think they even came up with this the day of...so that was awesome. So glad Ismael (unlike most established well known instructors out there) is still willing to put himself out there. Wish more instructors would get over their egos and put themselves out there to raise the level of competition....

NMedrano, Ismael is indeed a pro and he is not competing with an amateur or unknown. Shani is a professional Israeli performer now with caribean soul. It is true that they put this piece together the day before the competition. He did this while having to teach a group of amateurs with no previous experience to put a number together as a special program/performance challenge at the congress. I was another of the participants of that experiment.

	Hey guys, thanks for the comments good and bad, its very inspiring, the reason I did it last minute is because when i started I always took chances no matter what and I want that back, not caring what people say and putting yourself out there when no one else would its fun and challenging and I know I cant please everyone but Salsaholic I will work on my stiffnes lol. thank you everyone

2 thumbs up for Ismael. YOU ARE ONE AND ONLY BRO! Who would do what you did. And when the hell did you start doing acrobatic stuff? Feeling the pressures? Reminds me of the interview we did in Vancouver where you told me of the story of you doing your first combination OVER AND OVER and right where all the GREAT dancers were and they didnt want you there and YOU DIDNT CARE! YOU PAID $10 for that combination. Much luv from up North!
